BEST TIME TO VISIT SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Dry Season (June to October)

This is generally considered the best time to visit Serengeti National Park. The weather is dry and relatively cool, and the wildlife viewing is excellent. During this time, animals tend to gather around water sources, making them easier to spot. The Great Migration usually occurs in the Serengeti during June and July, with wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains and crossing rivers. The dry season is also a popular time for bird watching and photography due to the clear skies and pleasant temperatures.

Wet Season (November to May)

The wet season is characterized by short rains from November to December and long rains from March to May. While the wet season can be less crowded and offers lush green landscapes, it might not be the ideal time for wildlife viewing. The tall grasses can make animals harder to spot, and some roads might become impassable due to mud. However, this is the calving season for many animals, which means there is an influx of newborns, and predator sightings can be more frequent.
